With Regret

It is with the deepest of regret that the passing of Bro. William Fotheringham Snr must be reported.  Bro. Bill was an affiliate member of Lodge Craigends (he affiliated from Lodge Govandale No 437 in the late 1970s). 

Bill was one of the hardest working members Lodge Craigends has known.  He worked tirelessly in the kitchen as a Steward and behind the bar.  He also filled many other offices in his 30 plus years in the Lodge.

Lodge Craigends has lost a brother and a friend.  He is survived by his wife, Mae, and his two sons, William and Ian - also both MMs of the Lodge.  Our thoughts are with them at this sad and difficult time.

New Member

On Thursday 20th March, Bro Struan Brown was initiated into the Lodge by the RWM, PMs and Office Bearers of Lodge Craigends.  Bro. Struan received a full and excellent EAD.  The reply on behalf of the visitors was given by Bro. Jim Scott, a PM of Lodge Prince of Wales No 426.  It was a somewhat subdued meeting, with most brethren having just learned of Bro Bill's passing.
